Digital Electricity
YJ Contemporary Fine Art is the first art gallery in the state to use locally developed Digital ElectricityTM to power LED gallery lighting. The gallery, located in the historic Greenwich Mills complex in East Greenwich, partnered with fellow Greenwich Mills tenant and tech start-up Voltserver to install and implement the low voltage system to provide 24/7 illumination of artwork.
“We are excited to employ Voltserver’s Digital ElectricityTM to power hundreds of linear feet of LED track lighting that is essential for proper artwork illumination. It saved the gallery time and money on installation and it continues to serve us as we can easily adjust the lighting in-house since it is a ‘touch safe’ technology,” said Josef Blazar, co-owner of YJ Contemporary Fine Art. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a local partner to implement such a cutting-edge solution for gallery lighting needs.
