‘Survivor’ was made on Edisto Island off the coast of South Carolina. Another stretch of stranded trees here resembles the similar area on Jekyll Island. It is different though, with a wider, more expansive shoreline and a more gradual decline into the sea. This photo is unique to the series being one of very few not made pre dawn or post sunset.
