The changes and effects of Covid-19 on our lives last spring has brought change to my art and my creative process. By creating this piece I invited spring indoors hoping that the artwork will bring some joy and happiness during those uncertain times. Each spring, the cherry trees in Washington DC provide inspiration for my artwork. But last year due to pandemic and quarantine, my view was more local, through my windows and on my morning walks. I created this composition to lift the spirits of family and friends.
