Historic Development of the Gallery

FROM BOILER ROOM TO CONTEMPORARY GALLERY SPACE

Part of the Greenwich Mills, 42 Ladd St. in East Greenwich, Rhode Island - The gallery has taken shape in the  original boiler room of the complex. Originally,  housing (3) large boilers, the space has been converted to a cutting edge gallery space.

THE LIGHTING

YJ Contemporary teamed up with Volt Server to bring the latest technology into lighting. With Volt Server's patented technology, YJ was able to wire the LED lights with simple alarm and ethernet wiring. There is no need for the certified electrician to install the light. With the gallery lights on 24/7, the electricity bill is just over $100/month. This compared to thousand of dollars traditional spent every month from gallery lighting which burns at a higher rate.
